I-4 FROM I-75 TO McINTOSH ROAD, FDOT D-7

This project included the of 4.5 miles of I-4, 25 phases of complicated maintenance of traffic, four bridges built with phased construction, MSE walls, surcharged fill areas, JPS utility relocation, signs, lighting and signals. Cost $41 million, completed 2000.


SUNCOAST PARKWAY 1, SECTION 2, FTE

This project included construction of a divided four lane interstate highway, including eight AASHTO beam bridges in Pasco County. One mile of SR 54 was reconstructed, widening it from two lanes to four lanes. Tampa Bay Water 84 inch water line was relocated. The original contractor defaulted and was behind schedule when C&G assumed the contract. The delayed schedule created significant challenges; C&G was able to provide timely, cost effective service and the roadway was opened to traffic on time. Cost $21.7 million, completed 2001


SUNCOAST PARKWAY SECTION 3, FTE

This road and bridge project included the construction of Segment 3 of the Suncoast Parkway in Pasco County. The project included over two mill CY of earthwork, eight bridges, 4.8 miles of highway construction and added interchange work at Ridge Road 200 days into construction. Cost $35.3 million, completed 2000.






MERIDIAN AVENUE

Meridian Avenue, Downtown Tampa. phased roadway reconstruction of the Meridian Avenue gateway for the reversible lane toll road for THCEA. Dense, stratified utility reconstruction, 23 major revisions to the project under construction, microtunneling utilized for 800 LF of storm drainage adjacent to Ice Palace, $1 million in asbestos abatement, $1.5 million contamination remediation, coordinated construction access for 15 high rise developments, railroad switchyard relocation and reconstruction, $3.5 million in landscaping, hardscaping, and custom architectural street lighting and sign panels. Cost $17 million, completed 2006.


SR 72 ??VANDERPIPE SLOUGH TO DEER PRAIRIE, FDOT D-1

This project included widening, milling & resurfacing of three bridges over sensitive wetlands. Significant post-design changes were required with close coordination with FDOT on alteration of CTP and construction phasing. Cost $30.5 million, completed 2010.





ULMERTON ROAD/SR 688 FROM US 19 TO ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD, FDOT D-7

This project included the complete reconstruction of Ulmerton Road from US 19 to 49th Street and milling and resurfacing from 49th Street to Roosevelt Boulevard. Cost $33 million, completed 2008.






40th STREET FROM HANNA TO HANLON STREET, CITY OF TAMPA

This project included 4.1 miles of widening to 4 lane arterial with roundabouts, landscaping, plus 500-foot-long bridge over Hillsborough River. Cost $21 million, completed 2009







SR 55/US 19 @ ENTERPRISE TRAIL AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, FDOT D-7

New pedestrian bridge over US 19 and trail to connect the proposed Progress Energy Trail with the existing Pinellas County Trail System; accelerated schedule. Cost $4 million, completed 2009.






PEDESTRIAN/EQUESTRIAN BRIDGE OVER I-95, FDOT D-5

Award winning pedestrian/equestrian bridge with retaining walls and landscaping on superstructure; first Design Build project in District 5. Cost $2.5 million, completed 2003.





I-95 DECK REPLACEMENT PROJECT, FDOT D-4

The project consisted of the replacement of two existing bridge deck slabs and milling and resurfacing on I-95 over Florida Turnpike in St. Lucie County. Cost $3.2 million, completed 2005.


TURNPIKE MAINLINE WIDENING ATLANTIC AVENUE TO LANTANA, FTE

Widening of two bridges on Florida Turnpike over the Boynton Canal in Palm Beach County. Cost $3.5 million, completed 2007.


LAKELAND IN TOWN BYPASS, POLK COUNTY

The project included construction of a 900 steel girder bridge over two CSX railroad tracks, extensive drainage installation as well as JPA contracts for water and sewer improvements. Coordination with utilities has been especially important to maintain the construction schedule. Cost $11 million
