Cone & Graham Inc. is excited to announce that we have been recommended as the contractor for the ambitious Ridge Road Extension project in Pasco County. This $85 million project, as highlighted by WesleyChapelCommunity.com, is set to extend Ridge Road from N. Sunlake Boulevard to U.S. 41, creating a 4-lane divided roadway equipped with essential features for safety and accessibility.
The Pasco County Commissioners are set to officially vote on awarding the project to Cone & Graham on February 6th, following a rigorous evaluation process. This extension will benefit local residents by enhancing connectivity, supporting utility infrastructure, and accommodating the area’s growth.
Project Details and Enhanced Accessibility
The Ridge Road extension is designed with the community in mind, featuring a variety of elements to ensure a safe and accessible route for all users:
The project also includes constructing a bridge over the CSX railway, ensuring smooth traffic flow and increased connectivity across the region. To meet the community’s infrastructure needs, a 24-inch water main and a 20-inch reclaimed water main will be integrated into the project, strengthening local utility services.
Commitment to Sustainable Growth
The Ridge Road Extension stands as a key component of Pasco County’s vision for sustainable growth, with a projected completion date in fall 2026. This project represents a blend of forward-thinking design and essential infrastructure, providing residents with enhanced access and easing travel in West Pasco County.
Funded through a combination of mobility fees, grants, and utility contributions, the Ridge Road Extension will bring lasting value to the community without overburdening local resources.
