Overview
Growth in Broward County requires express lane improvements and reconstruction of a main interchange at Sheridan Street, a highly trafficked east-west artery. Improvements include design and construction of new, barrier-wall separated, four-lane tolled express lanes within the existing median. Each direction will have two travel lanes with paved inside and outside shoulders. Other future-forward improvements include a new I-75 express lanes bridge over the C-11 Canal, widening and lengthening of the existing Sheridan Street overpass bridge, and other improvements.
