Overview
The project was the design and construction of two additional inside lanes in each direction along I-95 from approximately 4400’ south of SR-70 / Okeechobee Rd (M.P. 14.512) to just south of SR-614 / Indrio Rd (M.P. 23.190) in Saint Lucie County. Cone & Graham, Inc was responsible for the design and construction of all bridge and structural elements, this included the widening of Interstate 95 ramps at the above-mentioned interchanges, widening of SR-68 (Orange Avenue), widening of bridges over Interstate 95 over SR-70, widening of Interstate 95 over Angle Rd & Belcher Canal as well as the removal and replacement of Interstate 95 over Kings Highway. The following installations and modifications were also required: guardrail, end anchorages, barrier wall, attenuators, retaining walls, drainage structures, pavement markings, single and multi-post signs, sound barriers, signalization and roadway lighting.
