WORK
As a subcontractor for this vital infrastructure project, Cone & Graham, Inc. played a key role in the construction of a new three-lane eastbound bridge on St. Lucie West Boulevard over Interstate 95. This $15 million project, led by the Florida Department of Transportation, aims to alleviate congestion and improve east-west traffic flow for the rapidly growing community of Port St. Lucie.
Our team was responsible for building the new bridge structure, which will carry eastbound traffic, while the existing bridge will be reconfigured to accommodate two westbound lanes. The project also involves reconfiguring entrance and exit ramps, widening St. Lucie West Boulevard, and adding sidewalks, bike lanes, and synchronized traffic lights to further enhance accessibility and safety along this corridor.
With more than 60% of St. Lucie County’s workforce commuting daily, this bridge expansion and roadway widening are essential to managing congestion and supporting regional growth. Cone & Graham is proud to contribute to this project, providing improved connectivity and efficient travel for local residents and commuters.
